Utlising a 2-axis gimbal (in this instance the Zenmuse H2-3D) can mean a lot of horizon movement, along with a windy day this can result in quite a few shakes.

To demonstrate the ability of Sony Vegas 9 and it's stabilisation we produced the following side-by-side comparison. As can be seen, it eliminates very well the small side-to-side shakes. However, pushing it any further results in some warp/barrel distortion, which is even more prominent when utilising a fish-eye lens with lens correction techqniques. You can remove some of this warp distortion by replacing the lens with a non-fish-eye.
