Locations:

Above Barbados were hired to provide aerial, ground and underwater filming for Tripp Derrick's latest artistic project. While painting underwater may sound impossible, Tripp pulled it off and we filmed it!

Using our stabliised high-definition aerial rig to capture scenes from the air, our 4 axis steadycam rig for the ground work we utlised a wide array of GoPro underwater rigs and filters to ensure we captured every angle of the project.

The above water work was shot at Bottom Bay and Bathsheba on the east of Barbados. Here we used ground equipment and aerial rigs to set the scene for the initial painting of Tripp's turtle.

The shoot then moved to Carlisle Bay where underwater, Tripp applied the finishing touches - actually painting the sea while underwater! We initially began on top of the wreck the Bajan Queen - with two video operators, one photographer and one support diver. The shoot then moved to the bow of the boat on the sea floor providing some dramatic shots, before finally fishing close to a coral head.
