Above Barbados provided the live aerial feed to Genius Lynk for the 2019 Flow King of the Hill event.

Broadcasting from a variety of locations, we provided full HD transmissions, from the air, to a base over 2km away for viewing on the large screen in front of the crowd.

Flying for live transmissions requires a slightly different approach than simply collecting clips for covering an event - smooth, consistent, scene setting shots with progressive transitions to give the vision mixer as much choice as possible to decide which camera view to be using at which point before quickly resetting for the next shot when not in use.

While providing the live 1080P footage to the large screen, we were simultaneously able to record the shots in UHD 4k for any post-processing/after event work.
